Elise is the Program Lead for the Path to Zero, where she is responsible for the successful implementation of an evolving set of community interventions and related supports focused on establishing the foundations for ending homelessness in Built for Zero communities. She leads a team of coaching staff in operationalizing community-facing interventions for Built for Zero communities. Prior to this role, Elise worked as a System Improvement Advisor, supporting a cohort of communities in achieving racially equitable, population-level reductions in homelessness and driving progress on other key, population-level measures.
Prior to joining Community Solutions, she served with Teach for America as a Special Education teacher and Program Manager in middle and high schools, where she led efforts to increase access to curriculum for students with disabilities. While working in education, she saw the impact of housing and homelessness on students’ ability to be successful in school and is now excited to work with communities to identify and problem-solve around complex housing challenges to see individuals flourish.
