Alex Hust serves as Deputy Director of Housing Systems at Community Solutions, overseeing two teams focused on expanding housing access and stabilization across Built for Zero communities.
Previously, Alex led efforts in Abilene, Texas, to build the data systems, local leadership, and housing programs that helped position the community to reach zero for all. Since joining Community Solutions, she has applied her systems thinking and deep knowledge of homelessness response to support communities like Atlanta and the Gulf Coast in achieving broader, population-level reductions.
Alex holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Abilene Christian University and is a licensed social worker.
