Henry is the director of the coordinating team of the Welcoming Neighbors Network, a confederated network of 52 (and counting) independent state and local pro-housing advocacy organizations across 30 states. Henry serves as the executive of the network and provides consultation and campaign support for pro-housing policy coalitions, including recent successful state legislative efforts in Arizona, Montana, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Hawai’i, Maryland, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Texas, and Washington state. Previously, Henry co-founded the Oregon-based pro-housing, pro-tenant organization Portland Neighbors Welcome, which led a diverse coalition that legalized the construction of a wide array of workforce and affordable housing options to address the city’s housing crisis. Henry lives in Portland with his wife, Hayley, their daughter, Zadie, two tiny dogs, and one overly large cat.
