Michael Thomas has been a passionate advocate for families and the community for the past 28 years. He has spent this time working for grassroots organizations in several leadership roles as well as counseling and training others on how to make a difference in their communities and how to overcome obstacles to find their true passions in life.
Michael is originally from Detroit, Michigan, where he graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. He is currently in his last semester at Liberty University, completing his master’s degree in counseling.
Driven by his passion for serving others, Michael has positively impacted the lives of thousands through his outreach efforts and numerous community projects. He has worked tirelessly with state officials and community leaders to empower low-income neighborhoods and at-risk families.
Michael is a passionate speaker of establishing sustainable systems to improve under-served communities and frequently travels the country speaking at conferences and seminars, and has provided program development consulting services to non-profits, private businesses, and local and state governmental entities.
Michael currently lives in Spring Hill, Florida, which is an hour north of the Tampa Bay area.
