Sweta Patel is the Chief Impact Officer for BDP Impact Real Estate, where she provides strategic management and guidance to the Fund’s community engagement and impact initiatives. She was the Deputy Director of Real Estate for Community Solutions where she led the development and financing of the organization’s placed-based, economic and community development project in Hartford.
She has experience in the fields of architecture, urban planning and economic development. Prior to joining CS, Sweta worked as an architectural designer in Philadelphia and managed the design and construction of supportive housing projects in NYC. She received a MSc in City Design and Social Science from the London School of Economics and a B. Arch from Penn State University.
