Amber Chandler is a Strategy Lead at Community Solutions on the Systems Change Team, where she spearheads the design and implementation of equitable, data-driven system improvements to address the root causes of homelessness. In this role, she leverages disaggregated data, equity analysis, and cross-sector collaboration to achieve measurable, population-level reductions in homelessness. Amber empowers communities with the tools and strategies to identify and address disparities in their homelessness response systems, fostering transformative partnerships with PWLEH, public health, healthcare, and housing institutions.
A proud Detroit native, Amber previously honed her expertise at the Detroit Land Bank Authority, where she guided over 300 nonprofits in revitalizing dormant land for community benefit. Her extensive background also includes grant management and policy development from her work with Detroit LISC, ArtSpace Projects Inc., and as a Policy Analyst for a Detroit City Councilman. Amber is a distinguished alumna of Howard University and the University of Michigan Law, licensed to practice in Michigan and before the United States Supreme Court.
