Lauren Barnes is the Media Strategist at Community Solutions, where she works with the media to amplify stories proving that homelessness is solvable. Throughout her career, she has led communications for nonprofits working on mental health, substance abuse prevention, early childhood education and food insecurity. Most recently, she was the Communications and Marketing Director for the East Texas Food Bank, leading their COVID-19 crisis response. She has a passion for working upstream and changing systems to have the largest impact on some of our most urgent public health needs.
