Lola Adedokun was the Executive Director of the Aspen Global Innovators Group at the Aspen Institute and co-Chair of the Aspen Institute Forum on Women and Girls. Her life’s work was fueled by a passion to expand opportunities for and access to health and prosperity for people living at the world’s margins globally and domestically. Lola nurtured and empowered local leaders in their work to reduce inequality and strengthen communities while serving as a global leader in health systems and health equity and as a powerful champion of those pushed to society’s edges. Lola was a long-time supporter of Community Solutions’ work and a leader on our Board from 2022 until her untimely death in October 2024.
