Survey Aims to Identify Skid Row’s Most Needy

A new effort was made to alleviate homelessness recently, when Downtown Pathway Home, a group comprised of several service organizations, presented the results of a survey that identified some of the most vulnerable homeless people staying in Downtown shelters.About 100 volunteers spent a week surveying people at Downtown institutions in a search for the most needy people on Skid Row.

It was part of the 100,000 Homes Campaign, a movement led by New York’s Community Solutions
