Elisabeth received her Master of Public Health from New York Medical College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Monroe College. In her free time, she volunteers as Director of Social Service at a local community soup kitchen and advocates for individuals with mental health. She is also a member of the Florida Public Health Association and serves on several task forces as a Health Equity expert.

Elisabeth worked as Minority Health/Health Equity Coordinator at the Florida State Department of Health, where she translated community members’ needs into action plans and forged partnerships with community-based organizations to connect women to services and bridge the care gap. Before this, Elisabeth worked at Northwest Behavioral Health, Columbia University, CAMBA-Maternal Infant Health, and other health-focused organizations.
