Brian Adam Jones is the Campaign Communications Director at Community Solutions, where he leads strategic communications, media relations, and public engagement to build support for solutions-focused policies nationwide.
Brian has roughly 15 years of experience in social impact, media, and public affairs. Highlights of his career include serving as Director of Communications and Senior Advisor on Wes Moore’s historic campaign for Maryland Governor. He also served as Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Robin Hood Foundation, the largest anti-poverty philanthropy in New York City. He was the founding editor-in-chief of Task & Purpose, a startup news and culture site for the military and veterans community. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he deployed to Afghanistan as a Combat Correspondent and public affairs specialist. He earned a BA in Political Science from Columbia University with the assistance of his GI Bill and is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
