Jianna Hopkins-Israel has been consulting with Community Solutions as a Housing Equity Strategist for two and a half years. She has a background in journalism and sociology, having studied at FAMU in addition to training from a number of hospitality programs. She is an expert in radical hospitality and guides the programs she consults with on how to ensure that participants, as well as those working for the program, feel included and that they belong.
She is the wife of a veteran and the mom of five children. She has been consulting with her community of Cincinnati for years, leading their Lived Experience Advisory Council.
She is also an adept public speaker on a myriad of topics, including homelessness, inclusion, and belonging, as well as organizational leadership.
