Heather Edwards serves as the Procurement and Payable Manager, playing a critical role in the financial health of the company by ensuring that all payables are managed effectively and in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. She collaborates with other team members to cultivate teamwork when streamlining processes.
She has worked with various nonprofits over the past 12 years, including, most recently, the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, in her hometown of Myrtle Beach, SC. She holds an MBA from Coastal Carolina University.
When not at Community Solutions, Heather serves as the South Carolina Chapter President for the Foundation Fighting Blindness, whose goal is to raise funds to fuel research to find cures for inherited retinal diseases and provide community and resources for those newly diagnosed. She also teaches yoga!
