In her role as Senior Digital Media Strategist, Katie works to shift discourse toward homelessness as a solvable problem. Working closely with the Built for Zero, Policy, and Strategic Communications teams, Katie oversees key elements of the organization’s digital media strategy, which include the organization’s social media presence and profiles, its paid search and social campaigns, and its digital campaigns
Prior to joining Community Solutions, Katie served as a digital media strategist at a marketing agency supporting advocacy focused nonprofits. Her career spans corporate communications at Allstate Insurance Company, development work as a Peace Corps volunteers in Uganda, and social media and communications management for EducationUSA, a U.S. Department of State program.
Katie holds a B.A. in Communications and Culture from Indiana University – Bloomington.
