As Strategic Communications Manager, Katie manages campaign and program content across the Community Solutions and Built for Zero websites, designs digital and print materials to brand standards, and helps ensure the Campaign, Built for Zero, and the Large Cities Housing Fund consistently describe the solution to homelessness. She also coordinates production of the annual report, supports donor appeals and event collateral, and maintains the organization’s story bank and image library.
Prior to joining Community Solutions, Katie served as a digital media strategist at a marketing agency supporting advocacy-focused nonprofits. Her career spans corporate communications at Allstate Insurance Company, development work as a Peace Corps volunteer in Uganda, and social media and communications management for EducationUSA, a U.S. Department of State program.
Katie holds a B.A. in Communications and Culture from Indiana University Bloomington.
