LoriAnn Girvan is the Director of Community Partnerships. In this role, Lori is working with Community Solution’s place-based partners in Brownsville Brooklyn, Northeast Hartford and Washington, DC to achieve their aims in housing, health and economic mobility and tackle the the conditions that lead to homelessness. Lori has over 30 years of experience in urban revitalization, affordable housing, community planning and non-profit management in the United States, Canada, and Africa. Lori is passionate about working with nonprofits on using the tools of real estate and investment to create lasting housing and civic assets where all residents prosper. Lori has been recognized as a Women’s Leadership Institute Champion – Urban Land Institute Toronto and was a 2004-2006 University of Pennsylvania Center for Urban Redevelopment Excellence Fellow.
