Here are three ways that you can increase your impact this Giving Tuesday:
#1: Create a Facebook Fundraiser
Creating a Facebook Fundraiser makes your impact go further. It’s super easy! On your Facebook homepage, click the “Fundraisers” tab on the left hand column.
You’ll see this screen next. Select “Raise money for a nonprofit,” and type in Community Solutions. Or, go directly to this link to start setting up a fundraiser for Community Solutions. From there, create a fundraising goal that makes sense for you and your friends. You’ll personalize the fundraiser by explaining why you’re passionate about the work that we do (and make sure to remind everyone that every dollar raised will be matched!), and then you’re ready to post. Voila!
P.S.— Facebook Fundraisers are great because Facebook waives all processing fees, meaning all of your donation goes directly to Community Solutions. Plus, if you donate on Giving Tuesday, Facebook will match every donation, up to $7 million!
#2: Designate Community Solutions on Amazon Smile
Take advantage of Amazon’s giving program, smile.amazon.com. When you shop at this link, Amazon donates 0.5% of your purchases to a nonprofit of your choice. Go to this link, sign into your Amazon account, and designate Community Solutions International as your chosen nonprofit. During all of your holiday shopping, make sure to shop at Amazon Smile, and each purchase will raise money effortlessly!
#3: Make a Donation
