- Kaiser Permanente and the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments hosted their fourth Annual Regional Homelessness Forum, highlighting the importance of regional collaboration to address homelessness. Read more.
- Australian Zero Homelessness Summit 2024 – Rosanne Haggerty, President and CEO of Community Solutions, shared how we can move the needle on homelessness.
- American Enterprise Institute Annual Housing Center Conference – Dave Foster, Partner of Community Solutions, participated in a panel discussion with April Calvin, Executive Director of the Office of Homeless Services, City of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jonathan Martin, Florida State Senate, to discuss housing solutions following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Grants Pass v. Johnson.
- Facing Race – Amber Chandler, Strategy Lead of People with Lived Expertise of Homelessness at Community Solutions, and Tanesha Travis, Principal at TSTJ Consulting, presented “Combating Systemic Racism While Centering People With Lived Experience of Homelessness.” They shared insights and learnings with attendees to develop more inclusive and equitable approaches to solve homelessness.
- Solutions for Affordable Housing – Caitlin LaCroix, from our Policy and Advocacy team, presented findings from our State Public Health and Homelessness Playbook on how public health agencies and programs can proactively support efforts to reduce and prevent homelessness.
- 2024 RTFH Conference on Homelessness – Rosanne Haggerty, President and CEO of Community Solutions, presented our Large Cities Housing Fund model to local, state, and national experts.
- Institute for Healthcare Improvement – Jennifer Jaeger, from our Community Impact team, along with community partners in St. Johns, Florida, participated in a panel discussion to highlight the benefits of providing direct healthcare services to individuals experiencing homelessness.
